After-School Drama Program
In partnership with Greenbrier County Schools,
After-school classes and Drama Club activities begin in September and
continue through April, 2008. Classes meet weekly for children ages 5-17.
Other Drama Club activities are: attending professional and educational
productions; attending theatre conferences; taking workshops with guest
artists; developing, producing and performing plays.

Tots meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 4 - 5pm
Tweens meet on Mondays from 4:30 - 5:30pm
Teens meet on Mondays from 5:45 - 7pm
Summer Theatre Camp '08
July 21 - August 2
This is an intensive study in theatre arts for
children ages 5-14. The 5-8 year-olds attend for half days and the older
children attend for full days. They study all aspects of theatre and take
classes in improvisation, acting, characterization, scene study, movement,
stage combat, creative dramatics, storytelling, creative writing, and
technical theatre. During the camp they write, develop, and produce their
own play to perform on the final day of camp. GVT’s professional staff and
Summer Company provide instruction.
