Exciting Music Events Coming Up at GVT

Kermit's Kabaret, a GVT favorite, is coming back for GVT's 51st Season! Don't miss out on Kermit and the cast of A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine entertaining you with some of musical theatre's most beloved classics and contemporary hits.

Host and GVT Music Director Kermit Medsker has been working at GVT since productions were held at “The Barn” outside of Lewisburg. His GVT career began with Pirates of Penzance, and some past credits include 1940's Radio Hour and Dracula: A Rock Opera.

This one-night event will be on Monday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $16.

Also coming up is the second performance in the Al Jeter Music Series newest addition, Saturday Sinfonia. Images of Debussy will feature Kevin von der Heydt on piano and will be on Saturday, June 23 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 for general admission, $14 seniors (60+) and $10 for children and students.

This program is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Culture & History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.

For those audience members who love a challenge, GVT will be hosting Pub Quiz at the Irish Pub on Wednesday, June 6 at 8 p.m.
