| If chosen to be
a part of this eclectic program, you will spend your summer with a group
of ambitious students who live, work, and play together, reaping the
benefits of hands-on experience at an acclaimed professional theatre and
spending the summer with peers who share your passion for live theatre
production. |

| Interns are chosen from all around the country, selected from conventions such as the South Eastern Theatre Conference or by individual auditions or presentations |

| Additional
benefits of GVT's internship program include provided housing, a weekly
stipend, and the opportunity for performing interns to acquire
EMC (Equity
Membership Candidate) points. |

Each season, in addition to hiring a company of both Equity and non-Equity actors, Greenbrier Valley Theatre hires a group of college students to participate in their internship program. As acting and technical interns, this group of students spends the summer in a professional environment, honing their individual skills in whatever area of interest they pursue. |
