student matinees
GVT is proud to continue our Student Matinee Program! This fall, we will be presenting the world’s longest running play, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, the ultimate classic mystery!
When a snowstorm strands a group of strangers in a remote English guesthouse, what begins as a cozy retreat quickly turns chilling as one guest is found murdered, and the killer is still among them. Secrets unravel, identities shift, and everyone becomes a suspect in this masterfully crafted whodunit filled with suspense, wit, and Christie’s unforgettable twist ending.
The GVT Student Matinee Program includes discounted tickets for students, free tickets for teachers and chaperones, access to a comprehensive study guide about the production, an opportunity to attend a talk back with the cast and creative team, and space available to eat packed lunches after the performance. After the performance, teachers and students will be asked to complete a short online feedback form to help us continue to apply for and receive our grant funding. The GVT Student Matinee Program is made possible through grant funding from the Daywood Foundation.
• Run time: approximately 2 hours with a 10 minute intermission
• Mature themes such as death and violence will be explored (rated PG-13)
